11th Biennale de Lyon - A Terrible Beauty is Born

From September 15 to December 31, 2011

Conceived by the Argentinean curator Victoria Noorthoorn, the 11th Biennale de Lyon is gathering 70 artists from all over the world, but mostly from Europe, Africa and Latin America. Their work is being exhibited over 14.000 square meters, across four venues: the Sucrière, the Bullukian Foundation, the Lyon Museum of Contemporary Art, and the T.A.S.E. factory.

The Biennale de Lyon is an international exhibition, accompanied by two platforms: “Veduta” and “Résonance”.

Due to a very special scenography, we invite the public to follow the direction of the visit.

The marked path needs to take the stairs. Exceptionnally, due to the nature and density of certain works, strollers are not permitted in exhibition spaces. However, you can use front baby carriers available for your visit.
