A museum with two facades

Designed by Renzo Piano, this 2,800 m2 building combines a 1930’s facade (the former site of the Lyon Fair) with a modern red brick structure.

The 1930’s facade overlooks the Parc de la Tête d'Or while glass walls open onto the interior street of the Cité Internationale, opposite the UGC cinema. The museum may be freely traversed by the public when open.
